On 20 March 2026, ENGIP-RDC SA held the first Board of Directors meeting in its history at its Kinshasa headquarters. Its governing bodies had been appointed by presidential ordinance n°26/018 of 26 February 2026, announced on 28 February; incorporated on 15 January, the company now has the governance it needs to carry out its mission.

The Board of Directors is chaired by Thierry Tshitenga Kabuya. The General Management is entrusted to Richard Beya Ilunga, a jurist and former member of the board of FINA LOG SA, supported by Willy Bombito Mbomba, Deputy Director General.

The shift to the operational phase

With its bodies now in place, the company opens the operational phase of the reclamation: operation, maintenance and modernisation of the pipeline network reclaimed along the Matadi–Kinshasa axis, under the supervision of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons.
