How ENGIP-RDC SA collects, uses and protects the personal data submitted through this institutional website, and what your rights are.
ENGIP-RDC SA pays particular attention to protecting the personal data of those who consult its site or contact it. This policy describes our practices regarding collection and processing.
ENGIP-RDC SA processes personal data under Ordonnance-loi No. 23/010 of 13 March 2023 establishing the Digital Code of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and under the African Union Convention on Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection, ratified by the DRC.
Data controller
The controller of the data collected on this site is ENGIP-RDC SA, whose registered office is located at Avenue Colonel Lukusa, 142, Gombe, Kinshasa. Requests relating to personal data may be addressed to contact@engip.cd.
Data collected
The site collects only the data strictly necessary to process your request. Depending on the channel used, this may include the following items:
- identity: surname, first name and, where applicable, organisation
- contact details: email address and telephone number
- the content of your message and the subject of the request
- for applications: the documents you choose to submit
Purposes and legal basis
Processing rests primarily on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time, and, where applicable, on the legitimate interest of ENGIP-RDC SA in carrying out its public-service mission. For job applications, submitting your CV and supporting documents constitutes consent to processing the information they contain.
Recipients
Data is intended solely for the relevant departments of the company. It is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. Technical providers may access it strictly within the limits necessary to operate the site, in compliance with confidentiality.
Data transfers and hosting
To operate, this site relies on technical providers (hosting, content delivery, analytics) that may process data outside the Democratic Republic of the Congo. ENGIP-RDC SA limits such transfers to what is necessary and requires from its providers a level of protection equivalent to that of the Digital Code.
Data breach
In the event of a personal-data breach, ENGIP-RDC SA notifies the competent authority without delay and, where the breach is likely to affect your rights, the persons concerned.
Supervisory authority
Data-protection oversight in the Democratic Republic of the Congo falls to the Data Protection Authority established by the Digital Code. You may refer a matter to the competent authority if you believe your rights have not been respected.
Retention period
Enquiries and their attachments are kept for twenty-four (24) months from the last exchange, then deleted. Unsuccessful applications kept in a talent pool, with your agreement, are retained for a maximum of twenty-four (24) months.
Your rights
You have a right of access, rectification, erasure and objection to the processing of your data. To exercise it, write to contact@engip.cd specifying your request, or use the Contact page. A response will be provided within a reasonable time.
You may also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets cookies necessary for it to function and, subject to your consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager) that help us understand site traffic. No advertising cookies are used at this time.

In line with Google Consent Mode, no analytics cookie is enabled until you have consented. A banner lets you accept, refuse, or set your preferences; you can change your choice at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer, or by configuring your browser. The “Global Privacy Control” (GPC) signal sent by your browser is honoured.
Your consent choice is stored for twelve (12) months; after that, the banner is shown to you again.
