Accessibility.
ENGIP-RDC SA's commitment to a site that everyone can consult, the level of conformity targeted and how to report a difficulty to us.
ENGIP-RDC SA wants its institutional site to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever their hardware, software or disability. Accessibility is taken into account from the design stage and throughout the life of the site.
Our commitment
The site is designed to target conformity with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at level AA, a recognised international standard. This objective guides decisions on structure, contrast, keyboard navigation and writing.
Measures in place
Several principles are applied to make consultation easier:
- a hierarchical heading structure and semantic markup of content
- colour contrasts verified on light backgrounds as well as dark ones
- navigation possible by keyboard and visible focus states
- alternative text for images that carry information
- a layout that adapts to mobile screens and to text zoom
State of conformity
The site is under development. No external conformity audit has yet been carried out: the state of conformity presented here corresponds to a target and not to a certification. A formal evaluation will be conducted before the final version goes live.
Mock-up: this accessibility statement is provisional. The audit date, the measured conformity rate and the list of non-conforming points will be published once the evaluation has been carried out.
Third-party content
Some content may come from third parties or be hosted by external services (downloadable documents, maps, videos). We do not always control their accessibility, but we endeavour to offer an alternative where necessary.
Report a difficulty
If you encounter an obstacle when consulting any content, write to contact@engip.cd describing the page and the difficulty encountered, or use the Contact page. We will, as far as possible, offer you the content in an accessible form.
