The Director General of ENGIP-RDC SA, Mr Richard Beya Ilunga, was received on 24 June 2026 by the Minister of State for Hydrocarbons, Mrs Acacia Bandubola Mbongo, for talks devoted to the management and development of the State's petroleum infrastructure.

The meeting allowed the Director General to report on the field mission recently carried out with his teams between the city of Kinshasa and Kongo-Central province. The mission set out to inventory the petroleum assets entrusted to the company by the Congolese State, assess their condition and explore opportunities for asset-sharing among operators in the west of the country.

The highlight of the meeting was the handover to the Minister of a map locating all of the State's petroleum assets now under ENGIP-RDC SA's management. The document establishes a baseline understanding of the existing estate, the foundation for future investment in the logistics of petroleum and gas products.

The Minister of Hydrocarbons welcomed the company's proposals and set out her guidance for better coordination around the structuring projects intended to strengthen the country's energy infrastructure.
